The image helps identify its appearance and visible labels, but it cannot by itself decide how the item should be handled, supported or loaded. Before transfer, confirm the actual reel, wound material, packing condition, route and equipment, then select a method that follows the site's procedures. Start with the route and available space. Record the origin, destination, aisle width, height restrictions, turning points, thresholds and floor condition, and compare measured values with the actual envelope of the reel and its packing. The 800 mm label on the main image does not automatically define every dimension and does not represent the packed envelope.
Next confirm support and interfaces. The bore, flange edge, barrel and connection areas have different functions, so appearance alone does not identify a safe load-bearing point. Use the current drawing, packing or handling instruction to confirm supports, orientation and equipment. When information is missing, record an open question rather than testing capacity through trial lifting or local loading.
Record empty and loaded conditions separately. Wound material, protection, pallets and other packing can change gross weight, centre of gravity and overall size. The transfer record should state the actual condition and the source of each value. If there is no measured value or current document, mark weight and centre of gravity as unconfirmed instead of estimating them from a similar item or public image.
At handover, record the item reference, condition, quantity, packing, route, equipment, observations and responsible people. At the destination, compare the flange edges, connections, packing and labels with the departure condition. If contact, looseness or movement is observed, preserve the facts and photographs and do not treat the transfer as normally complete.
