When discussing plastic spools with Changhui, a spool manufacturer, check material information alongside model and dimensions. A marking on a product photograph is a starting point for discussion, not a complete material specification for an order. Separate what a source actually states from questions still awaiting confirmation, so a reference image is not mistaken for a technical commitment.
Preserve markings such as PP, ABS or PP/ABS exactly as written and record the source image or document. Do not interpret a slash as a mixing ratio, a particular resin grade or evidence that two materials perform identically. The marking alone also does not establish the material of an individual sample. If a spool has several components, specify whether the question concerns the complete assembly, a flange or the core.
For a sample, record its identifier, colour, existing labels and accompanying documents separately. Similar appearance, colour or weight cannot independently prove identical material. If supporting material information is absent, mark the material as unconfirmed rather than filling the enquiry form with a familiar name. Discuss what evidence is needed with the relevant people before drawing a conclusion.
Keep the material name separate from additional order conditions. If the buyer requires a particular grade, colour, additive, recycled-content condition or another attribute, supply the original requirement and identify the affected component. Distinguish agreed conditions from unanswered questions. A generic material name does not by itself confirm temperature limits, load capacity, chemical resistance or certification; these need their own agreed evidence.
Give material documents a revision and date, and keep image markings, supplier information, sample records and order requirements as distinct sources. Where they conflict, prepare a discrepancy list and obtain written clarification. Do not silently replace uncertain information with an assumed answer or discard the earlier reference. A subsequent material or component change should trigger another review of the affected requirements.
