Changhui Spool Manufacturer: Preparing a Plastic Spool Enquiry Dimension Sheet

When contacting Changhui about plastic spools, a photograph can identify a style but rarely explains the complete machine interface. A dimension sheet lets the buyer and supplier discuss the same information. This guide concerns enquiry preparation; it adds no dimensions, material guarantees or performance claims to the illustrated product.

Give each dimension an unambiguous name. List flange diameter, barrel diameter, bore, usable winding width and overall width separately instead of writing only “width”. Mark the measuring positions for locating slots, drive holes or clamping areas on a sketch. Leave uncertain items open for confirmation rather than substituting another dimension.

Record units and sources for every entry. Separate drawing values, sample measurements and earlier order information, noting the drawing revision or sample reference. A measured value and its permitted tolerance are different: decimal places in a single reading do not establish a supply tolerance. Agree any unsupported tolerance before adding it to the order.

Match photographs to the dimension sheet. Keep an overall view and close-ups of the bore and locating areas, identifying the sample shown. The 355mm and PP/ABS labels in the illustration are existing image markings, not a complete specification or evidence of a material blend. Confirm the actual material and delivery requirements separately in writing.

Put machine conditions in a separate section. Shaft diameter, available space, clamping method, wire information and operating requirements explain why a dimension matters, but do not replace spool measurements. Load, speed and tension require separate discussion; do not derive performance or machine settings from the product photograph.

Before sending the enquiry, check missing entries, units and revisions. A useful layout is “item—location—value—unit—source—open question”, accompanied by quantity, material and packaging requirements. This is a suggested communication format, not a claim about an established Changhui internal inspection system. Retain agreed drawings and order documents as the basis for later checks.
